PRINCIPAL'S CHALLENGE!: This year, we've added a new way to get Dragons involved in the fundraising fun. Students can invite friends, family & local businesses to sponsor them for the Dance. If Dragons can raise $2,500 by March 16, Principal Auerbach will do one of these silly stunts:
 

-Get slimed

-Get a green mohawk 

-Shave "MPE" into his head

-Get duct-taped to a wall

UPDATE: Way to go, Dragons -- we've already passed the original $2,500 goal! But get this: Principal Auerbach has agreed to do MORE stunts for every additional $2,500 we raise! Let's get to $10,000 and have him do ALL FOUR STUNTS! Keep sending in those sponsor forms/donations!

 

Please note: The Principal's Challenge is OPTIONAL -- students do not have to get donations/sponsors to attend the dance. Any student who brings in a donation/sponsor in any amount will receive a Dress Down pass and a raffle ticket to use at the dance. (Make sure your sponsor includes student name/s when donating online or on paper sponsor forms!) 

 

Voting will take place at school from March 5-16. Dragons will vote by placing coins into the beach bucket of the stunt they want to win. One coin (any value) equals one vote, and students can vote as often as they like! The PTA will give updates on which stunt is in the lead during morning announcements. The winning choice(s) will be announced at the Dragon Dance.

HOW TO DONATE: Make a secure, online donation through PayPal (credit cards accepted) by clicking the yellow DONATE button. If you are sponsoring a student, please type his/her name in the form field on the payment page. Donations by check (payable to Mount Pleasant Elementary PTA) can also be mailed to MPE PTA, 500 Duncan Rd., Wilmington, DE 19809. For checks, please write Dragon Dance and the student's name you are sponsoring in the memo line. For your records, MPE PTA's non-profit tax ID is 51­-0350776. Your donation confirmation email/canceled check is your receipt.

Students can also print paper sponsor forms (available below) and send them into school with their donations. Copies of sponsor forms are also available in MPE's main office.

SILENT AUCTION & RAFFLE PRIZES: The PTA is gathering AMAZING raffle baskets & silent auction prizes to win at the dance. The Grand Silent Auction Prizes: a four-night stay at Ocean Clubs Resorts in Turks & Caicos , (valued at $1,400) AND 5 Disney Park Hopper. Here's a sample of other prizes up for grabs:
