Greenfest is back!

Saturday, August 25. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please join us for another community recycling day! Bring hazardous household waste, electronics, paper, and donations of clothing, food, and school supplies to the back parking lot of Mount Pleasant Elementary School (500 Duncan Rd., Wilmington, DE 19809) , where volunteers will help retrieve and sort the items.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND ITEMS THEY WILL BE COLLECTING:
Delaware Solid Waste Authority (DSWA):
Household Hazardous Waste: Household cleaners, garden pesticides, oil-based paints, nail polish, fluorescent bulbs, or antifreeze.
Electronics Recycling: Electronic equipment such as old computers, printers, CD players, microwaves, telephones, televisions, game boys, fax machines, answering machines, and VCRs.
Paper to Shred: Up to 2 file boxes of personal confidential papers for shredding.
Clothing Bank of Delaware:
Clothing: Clean clothing ready to wear without holes, rips, tears or stains.
Shoes: Athletic, casual and dress shoes, work boots, sneakers, sandals, heels, flats and loafers.
Bellevue Community Center:
Non-Perishable Food including: Urgently needed items are hot and cold cereals, soup, peanut butter, canned fruits and meats, shelf staple milk, canned vegetables and
spaghetti sauce; bagged, boxed and canned non-perishable items accepted.
