The season of giving is right around the corner, so the PTA is teaming up with the Bellevue Community Center (BCC) to collect food and build Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need within our community.
Want to help? We will collect non-perishable food donations (see list below) until Thursday, Nov. 15. Donations should be sent to MPE’s Main Office. (Any donations after Nov. 15 should be sent directly to the BCC. See the BCC's flyer below for more info.) Monetary contributions are also appreciated! Please send cash/checks (made out to Bellevue Community Center) to the main office in envelopes, Attn: PTA Thanksgiving Food Drive.
We ask that each grade level contribute specific items so that the BCC can assemble complete baskets:
Kindergarten: Box of Cereal and/or Canned Corn First Grade: Jar of Peanut Butter and/or Jar of Jelly Second Grade: Canned Turkey Gravy and/or Cranberry Sauce Third Grade: Box of Turkey Stuffing and/or Canned Fruit Cocktail Fourth/Fifth Grade: Canned Sweet Potatoes and/or Canned Green Beans
The PTA will also help the BCC organize and build baskets for distribution (date/time TBA). Interested in helping? Email us at email@example.com.
